In pursuit of happiness

Hello readers.Welcome back to Themedlyric.A fine topic to start a fine day.Do we know what it costs to be happy?Let me tell you with my approach..Happiness is a self served action that reaps its own fruit….(Oh man!!what’s he talking about ????? 😦 ) Well I’m saying that happiness is something which you get purely based on your actions (i.e) do good and you can feel the joy in doing good….. 🙂 . Okay,”That reaps its own fruit” ??? (wait wait wait!!!! Happiness ain’t a tree to give too many fruits …..) You deserve what you get. A good deed is often repaid by another in another way.I hope you understood now. In my perspective ,dear readers , I give you the poem……….

In pursuit of Happiness

Throughout my life is one long pursuit,

Is that being in a great suit?

Or when I hear the melody of a flute?

Is that when a child smiles at me, cute?

…………………………………………………………….

Love, I say, my mother’s lap is,

A little freedom never goes amiss.

Love , I say, is a kind bliss,

Small lips and a sweet kiss.

  …………………………………………………………….

Venturing into the alleys of pride,

Where wandering is a jolly ride.

Joy isn’t what we must hide,

With happiness as our guide.

…………………………………………………………….

Seeking under the stars of a monsoon night,

There she is, The Moon, shining bright.

Frolicking in the rain with delight,

Resolving the spectrum of light.

…………………………………………………………….

Living in the abstractions of the Modern world,

Where, even Life is a benign mould,

Happiness within our hearts, many a fold,

There it is ,”Lo Behold!”

…………………………………………………………….

Rainbows of a subtle dream,

With happiness flowing like a gentle stream,

Let go of the violent gleam,

Which are nothing but a dreary scream.
